Cranborne Chase Maps

Perhaps one of the lesser known of Englands national landscapes but no less beautiful, covering stunning and ancient landscapes crossing Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. There is a little bit of Somerset in there as well.

There are two versions of the Cranborne Chase map available, one of the national landscape as a whole and the other showing the portions of the different counties that make up Cranborne Chase.

Small: A1 - 84.1 x 59.4 cm

Four frame map options are available for both 270 gsm archival fine art paper and 280 gsm cotton / polyester canvas prints.

Details on the Maps

Rivers, lakes, reservoirs, a complete road and rail network, woodland, parks, hilltops, golf courses, runways, civil parish borders and labels are all marked and labelled on the maps.

Hill shading is applied across the map bringing the topography and relief of Cranborne Chase to the map.

Long distance walking routes are plotted and labelled on the map including, Monarch's Way, Wessex Ridgeway, Jubilee Trail and Avon Valley Path.

Sites of significant historical & cultural interest are also plotted on the maps complete with reference sections. Examples include Ackling Dyke, Oakley Down Barrow Cemetery, War Barrow, Philipps House and Pyehouse, Longleat, Stourhead and Old and New Wardour Castle's

Cranborne Chase Mini Maps

My Cranborne Chase maps have also been re-designed for the mini map series. These have less labelling, prioritising place names, the civil parish borders and labels are removed along with the walking routes.

The 'sites of significant historical and cultural interest' are also lost.
