Lake District

Year of Design - 2024

The Lake District is a place close to my heart, somewhere I have visited and explored almost every year since I was a boy.

The main feature of the map is the distinct labelling of all the Wainwrights. All have their elevation and rank. All major paths and tracks are plotted, waterfalls, tarns, woods, moorland and hill shading

There are two versions of the map. The original main map covers a wider area including much of Cumbria and the coastline. The smaller map is much tighter around just the National Park.

REGIONAL MAPS

In 2026 I started to produce a series of smaller regional maps from across the park. All the distinct fell areas as defined by Wainwright in his books and one focusing on Windermere. 

Print sizes for these are A3 (29.7 x 42 cm), B3 (35.3 x 50 cm and A2 (42 x 59.4 cm), some available with mounts and 3 frame choices.

Framed and unframed options are available on both 270 gsm archival fine art paper or 280 gsm cotton / polyester canvas.
