English County Maps

If you love and are proud of your county, capture the charm of your corner of the country with one of my county maps.

Each county map is drawn in incredible detail with an effort to label every settlement. Woods, hills, moors and major geographic landmarks and topographical features. Relief shading is delicately applied bringing the topography alive.

Major parks and open spaces, golf courses, lakes, rivers and canals. Military areas, world heritage sites, quarries nature reserves and national park and landscape borders.

A complete road and rail network with tunnels and viaducts together with station and line labels Major paths and tracks along with long distance walking routes are also plotted.

Each map includes a researched historic sites section which are plotted on the map. These are typically researched from the National Trust, English Heritage and Historic England with a number of others that wouldn't be covered by these organisations.

All maps are available on 270 gsm archival fine art paper or 280 gsm cotton / polyester canvas, framed or unframed. Click here for a more detailed read on specifications, materials used and build quality.

Map Sizes

The original artwork is incredibly detailed and therefore only available in larger print sizes.

B1 - 70 x 100 cm (original design size)

A1 - 59.4 x 84.1 cm

B2 - 50 x 70 cm (not available for every map)

Mini Maps

All my county maps have been re-designed for the Mini map series available in smaller print sizes

A2 - 42 x 59.4 cm - £45

B3 - 35.3 x 50 cm - £36

A3 - 29.7 x 42 cm - £30

At these smaller sizes they are easier to accommodate for wall space and less expensive to buy.

A large amount of labelling is lost, prioritising place names together with the civil parish borders and labels. The walking routes are also removed but with a few exceptions. For example the Cotswold and South Downs mini maps retain the Cotswold way and South Downs way respectively. Check the specific product for details.

All the mini maps have common design theme such as a subtle off white back ground and a burnt orange elements such as the border, scale and compass.
