Details on the Maps

Rivers, streams, canals, lakes, a complete road and rail network, woodland, heathland, parks, hilltops, golf courses, airports and runways and military areas are all marked and labelled on the maps.

All civil parish borders and labels are also on the maps.

Hill shading is applied across the map bringing the gentle topography and relief of the Hampshire countryside from the Test Valley to the South Downs alive on the map.

Long distance walking routes are plotted and labelled on the map including, The Test Way, Wayfarer's Way, Brenda Parker Way and Solent Way.

Sites of significant historical & cultural interest are also plotted on the maps complete with reference sections. Examples include Winchester Cathedral, The Rufus Stone, Odiham Castle and Old Winchester Hill.

Hampshire Mini Maps

My Hampshire map prints have also been re-designed for the mini map series. With less detail and no 'sites of significant historical and cultural interest' but still looking lovely in smaller print sizes.

The civil parish borders and labels are removed along with most wood and park labels, prioritising place names. The long distance walking routes are also removed.

Isle of Wight map

Certainly not part of Hampshire these days but an integral part of the local geography of this part of the south coast of England is the Isle of Wight.

The Isle of Wight Coastal Path is plotted on the map, the area of the Isle of Wight National Landscape and many historical landmarks are labelled including Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle and Blacking Chine, the oldest theme park in the UK.
