Lake District print only on paper: 270 gsm (grams per square meter) fine art paper - a beautiful, off-white ivory paper. Printed using the latest HP fine art Giclee printing technology, guaranteeing the artworks colour integrity for up to 200 years.
Lake District canvas print only: printed on 280 gsm cotton / polyester canvas. Excess material is around the print to allow for stretching of the artwork and framing.
Lake District framed print: Framed prints are dry mounted to insure stability of the artwork. Real glass used for size A2 and smaller and 3 mm clear perspex for larger pieces. Spacers are used for prints with frames of same size to prevent medium to long term damage and to enhance the look and quality.
The frame is sealed at the back, bumpers added to the bottom corners, a string tie and certificate of authenticity. Larger, heaver work has L-shaped bracket mounted in the top corners with complementary wall hooks.
Lake District framed canvas print: artwork printed on polyester cotton canvas. The artwork is stretched around a stretcher frame and fixed in place before being set in the display frame of your choice. The same brown frame tape, string hanger and cushions are added to the back. Remember there is no glazing for canvas prints, the artwork is exposed, which is fabulous for viewing the work from any angle around the room as there is no glare. There are adjustable fittings on the back around the frame keeping the inner stretcher frame and artwork in place with the display frame.
Lake District map frame options: there are 4 frame choices available from the cartographic arts. two matte black options, one thick and one thin, and two of a light walnut finish, one thick one thin.

the price is the same across all frame types and between framed prints and framed canvas prints. The only change in price occurs with size.
